Happy Friday my lovelies! 

Today's Friday's Fancies is jumpstarting the appropriate attire for April showers that will soon be 

upon us. I just LOVE these cute rain boots with the gold buttons on the side! 

I spotted them at Target this week and they come in at $29.99! 

Hope this inspires some of you to jump over to the store (or online) and swipe these cuties 

up before they're gone! Leggings will fit perfectly into the boots and your colorful coat will keep 

you dry and bright! Don't you just adore the waterproof tote to accommodate you during a rainy day? There's no reason to be gloomy about the rain when you can wear something as fun as this getup!

True Beauty Files Link-Up

Good morning sweet friends! Hope you all had a lovely weekend! Mine was pretty laid back and COLD!

Winter decided to turn its frigid cheek in NC this weekend. 

I am participating in Anna's The True Beauty Files link-up today! I loved the idea that Anna came up with to show the style and fashion of a modest woman. We all get so caught up in the glamour and glitz of hollywood fashion and sometimes forget to stay true to who we are and how God has created women to represent purity, modesty and conservative dress. I think there are so many ways to portray beauty in a woman who likes to dress for fun and as a representation and unique style of oneself, with a void of cleavage or a lot of leg to be shown. 

I admit to not always having dressed the way I think God would want me to, but am so fortunate for friends like Anna, who has shown me, as well as other women, that you can look beautiful and still be pleasing to God when styled modestly, no matter what size, height or color you are.

Here is my first take on an outfit with all of this in mind.

Forgive the camera quality. I am not an owner of a high-tech camera, nor am I a model by any means. Haha I had to just let loose and have fun with this little shoot, as I am quite nervous to pose by myself. I'm hoping to become more confident in taking these pics and hope I give you the courage to express yourself and join with us in Monday's True Beauty Files!

Friday's Fancies {Spring Fever}

I know, I know...it just turned February and we're seeing spring outfits! I don't mind it one bit. I happen to love spring (just as much as the next person!) If you've got the fever, be sure to

Pairing a neon, pastel and a dark shade make for a great, balanced outfit if you ask me! Hence, this little number. Hope this color combo can be of some inspiration for your wardrobe switch in the next month or two, depending on your location. It was in the 60's today here in NC!

Happy Friday! Friday's Fancies is kicking off with a color we're currently crushing on!

If you've been keeping up with the past couple weeks of posts, you might suggest I have a crush on COLOR in general! I've always been a lover of color, but it usually heightens in the spring and summer months. This year it has crept on me a little early. January is the month for color!

I am seriously so excited to be a guest over here at Coral Cafe. Drew has impeccable taste and I was kind of intimidated to be a guest, but  she also happens to be one of the sweetest bloggers I have met in the blogosphere, so how could I say no?? ;)

I wanted to share with you all one of my favorite color trends hitting the fashion world that I am DYING to try this season. Crimson Orange and Endive. I simply would have never thought to combine these colors, but I took a glance at a few of these photos to realize they were made to turn dreary winter days upside down. Even if the color pops are subtle like a lip or nail color, it just seems to work magically as if they were always meant to be. What do you think? Should I give it a go? Jewelmint

I was ecstatic when I won the Jewelmint, "Astoria" necklace from Luella & June! As most of you know, Jewelmint is a jewelry line started by Kate Bosworth and Cher Coulter. They have some great pieces to choose from and can be seen on such celebrities as Rachel Bilson, Gwyneth Paltrow, Sienna Miller and Kate Bosworth herself, wearing the "Astoria" above. Each piece even comes in a precious minty box, with a lovely note by Kate and Cher.

I love sporting this chunky, gold-plated necklace, inspired by the deluxe Waldorf-Astoria hotel.

I decided to pair it with a denim shirt and coral cardigan to make sure it stood out as a statement piece!!

I think the leopard print heels and belt add a certain contrast that matches my style, as of lately.

What are you wearing for Autumn?

So the orange theme continues! I love all shades of orange: burnt orange, rust orange, camel and amber.

I think of pumpkin pie, cider and of course candy corn during these autumn months. It's funny how fashion sparks an image of food in my head. I should have just dedicated this post to "fashion foodies!"

When accessorizing with orange, chocolate brown and black compliment this hue very well. 

Try adding amber and camel to the mix and you will be amazed at how orange becomes such a staple color in your fall wardrobe!!

Friday's Fancies {Breast Cancer Awareness}

Happy Friday!! Today is a special Friday's Fancies! The gals and I have teamed up to dedicate this post to Breast Cancer Awareness Month! So many strong and courageous women have battled and conquered this traumatic disease. My heart goes out to all of the women who have struggled, or knew of someone dear to their heart who has had to deal with such a painful condition.

Here's to continuing more education, awareness and empowerment for women all around the globe!
