My family is huge on sweets and for Valentine's Day we are treated with our favorite sugar induced treat! The newest member of the family gets extra this year for being such a great husband/son/brother!

I couldn't resist! This is my little "niece" who I absolutely adore! This is typical of a fun filled, adventurous day with this cute curly haired tot! Julianna definitely entertains every second of the day! Who wouldn't fall in love with such a "Jewel!"

AIGA Charlotte and UNCC's AIGA Student chapter is having a screening of Waking Sleeping Beauty, with the collaboration of Charlotte Underground Film Festival tonight. It's about the struggles Walt Disney went through making animations and creating box office hits. It goes on to unfold the miracle that came with such hits as "The Little Mermaid", "The Lion King", "Aladdin" and "Beauty and the Beast."

I'm obviously a lover of coral, hence my blog title. Something about the color is so cheery and tropical! I have my fair share of coral collections, along with my other favorite- (remember my copper collection?) Stay tuned for a coral filled room...my next project is decorating a guest bedroom for a friend!
My Little Chloë is still a fan of her Panthers no matter what the standing is. She loves strutting her little Steve Smith jersey and being called "lil smitty," so she will never let them down! I, on the other hand am pulling for the Steelers!! "Black and Yellow, Black and Yellow!" I guess I always jump on the bandwagon. I lived in Pittsburgh last year and so I cheer for them proudly. (Even though I've cheered on the Packers in the past.) I usually root for the underdog or a team that I had some sort of connection to. End the end, I just wanna eat good greasy food and cheer on with great friends!
Anyone willing to take a bet with me?! ;) Nothing like some good competition to keep it interesting!
